Eddie Sandoval

Edward (Eddie) Sandoval is an educator, preservationist and historian who is widely recognized for his many years of representation and preservation of Native American heritage.
After receiving a Master’s degree in education, Eddie went on to a career as an educator and counselor with Tarrant County College. In the early 1990’s, he became a Sun Dancer at Pine Ridge, South Dakota, which made him qualified to carry out ceremonies and blessings.
Eddie has given numerous presentations on Native American heritage and culture. He is also the co-founder of Indigenous Institute of the Americas. As an Apache and Sun Dancer, he has performed numerous blessing ceremonies across the west and is an advocate on issues related to the Native American community.
